ASIC Inclusivity Award - UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, Gender Equality

RUW receives the ASIC Inclusivity Award for the promotion of UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, Gender Equality on 31st March 2021.
The award ceremony took place virtually through ASIC Virtual Conference with the presence of 447 individuals from 37 countries including Dignitaries from Ministries of education, Association of Arab Universities, Times Higher Education (THE) and other universities.
Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC), based in the United Kingdom, held their first virtual conference on Education Beyond 2021: Exploring New Horizons for International Education in a Disruptive World. In this conference, ASIC awarded universities that had made a meaningful impact on inclusivity and three of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Royal University for Women (RUW) has proudly won the award for its efforts in promoting Gender Equality (SDG5).
RUW is internationally accredited with ASIC, an internationally renowned quality standard for schools, colleges, universities and online learning providers accreditation which is recognized by the UK Home Office. RUW received superior scores in many of the quality criteria and as a result, was awarded the title of Premier University by ASIC.
