The Royal University for Women announces the opening of admission for the second semester AY 2020/2021

The Royal University for Women announced the opening of admission and registration period to receive applications for admission to the university for the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021.

The Director of Enrollment at Royal University for Women, Mr Sami Mohammad Daghash, stated that applications for admission from high school graduates or female students who wish to transfer studies from another university inside or outside the Kingdom of Bahrain will be received online via the university’s official website www.ruw.edu.bh without the need for personal attendance to The university’s campus, following the precautions taken in the face of the emerging coronavirus situation (COVID-19).

Mr Sami also mentioned that the requirements for admission are available on the university's website, where students can view the instructions for registration, complete the application, upload the required documents within the attachments section and send the application online to be reviewed by the Admission and Registration Department and verify that the application meets the admission requirements as per the admission regulations approved by the Royal University for Women.

Mr Sami added that the university provides female students with the opportunity to choose from many undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as they can apply for the following majors: Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Business in Human Resources, Bachelor of Business in Marketing, Bachelor of Business in International Business, Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, Bachelor in Architectural Design, and Bachelor of Law, which is the only bilingual college in the Kingdom of Bahrain in which the curricula are taught by 60% in English and 40% in Arabic in line With the requirements of the labour market. In addition to that, admission to postgraduate programmes are open for Master in design management and the Master of Fine Art in Drawing and Painting.

Mr Sami pointed out that the Royal University for Women seeks to provide all facilities and ease of access for the students, as it has prepared explanatory videos through the official channels of the university explaining the steps for applying for admission. It is worth noting that the Royal University for Women is the first private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain to gain institutional accreditation from the Higher Education Council, as well as recommended by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Bachelor degrees as well as by the State of Kuwait for the College of Business and Financial Sciences majors and for all majors by the Ministry Higher education in the Sultanate of Oman.
