Ms. Batool AlWedaei
Bachelor of Business in Human Resources – AY 2014-2015
She joined RUW in 2012, during her university years she joined a student organization called AIESEC, where it equipped her with many professional skills, which were and still needed in the market. AIESEC was her gate way to her current employment.
With the combination of RUW learning and the skills set she gained from AIESEC, she was already speaking the market language and stood out amongst the candidates applying for the same position she was applying for.
She joined DHL global Forwarding in 2016 as Bahrain HR executive, and then got promoted to HR Specialist; two years later she gained the title of HR Business Partner. During her employment with DHL Global Forwarding she had a 360 view of HR, which is a great exposure to gain at a young age, in addition to that she had worked on local and regional projects, Bahrain projects, Oman support and led the expansion of Saudi Arabia for two years alongside being part of a regional team to drive the engagement for the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region.
After 5 years with her current employer working in General HR, she moved to the specialization of learning, where she completed three years and a half already in the current role (Learning Lead – Gulf), and it doesn’t stop to amaze me.
She is thankful for the opportunities she had encountered in RUW, which opened her the door to enhance her career journey.

As a proud graduate of the Royal University for Women (RUW) with a Bachelor of Law, my academic journey has been transformative.
