The Royal University for Women: The National Action Charter is a Milestone in the History of the Kingdom of Bahrain

The Royal University for Women (RUW) extended its sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the National Action Charter. RUW highlighted that the date of February 14th is a milestone in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain. On this date an overwhelming consensus of the vision of the National Action Charter was established by governance, that led to a bright future, which included all aspects of development in Bahraini society including social, cultural, economic and political frameworks.

The Royal University for Women also lauds the achievements of Bahraini women, that are celebrated this year as twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women, under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, which coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the National Action Charter. This year’s theme of the Bahraini Women’s Day is “Bahraini Women in the National Development .. A March of Progress in a Dedicated Nation”, that has resulted in enhancement of  Bahraini women from the stage of empowerment to advancement in various fields and at all levels in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, God bless him and his patrons.

The Royal University for Women affirms that, based on its educational role, it is working on the community integration framed by the National Action Charter and seeks to instil the values of giving, in every Bahraini woman, so that she can establish herself as a partner in the sustainable development and achievement. RUW supports the educational march in the Kingdom of Bahrain through its vision and mission, and aims to provide an educational environment that creates leaders who are engaged members of their society, demonstrating initiative and life-long habits of learning and individual development, to prepare the future generation of pioneering and successful women in all forums.
