Royal University for Women and Hope Ventures Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Royal University for Women signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, to support initiatives that enhance the students’ entrepreneurial skills through workshops, joint events and other initiatives that cultivate the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in youth as well as facilitation of opportunities and knowledge building. The memorandum was signed by RUW President, Professor Yusra Mouzughi and Hope Ventures General Manager Ms Fajer AlPachachi in the presence of the college Deans and members of RUW management. 

On this occasion, RUW President Professor Yusra Mouzughi said that “the signing of this memorandum as an indication of the university’s belief in the importance of fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation and expose the university students to this culture through providing them access to all initiatives and opportunities that enable them to advance their abilities to make them excel in the entrepreneurship field and to achieve the objectives of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030”. Professor Mouzughi praised the important role played by Hope Fund to support youth projects and initiatives and directing Bahraini youth towards investing in the ideas and resources available and advancing economic development, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and that the Royal University for Women is honored to be partnering with Hope Ventures on projects and initiatives as both parties strongly believe in the capabilities of Bahraini youth who are ambitious towards global leading.

From her side, The General Manager of Hope Ventures, Ms Fajer AlPachachi stated: “Our mission at Hope Ventures is to foster a nationwide entrepreneurial mindset and outlook in Bahrain, and university students are in the ideal stage to adopt this mindset and embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. Through this partnership with Royal University for Women, we will ensure that the university’s students gain access to Hope’s programs and initiatives and can benefit from the knowledge and opportunities we are offering to established and aspiring entrepreneurs”
