Dr. Raed Alnimer is an Associare Professor specialized in Civil Law. He joined RUW College of Law in September 2017. He holds a Ph.D. in Private law, a master’s degree in Intellectual Property, and a Bachelor of Law from the World Islamic Science &Education University, Jordan. He has a long career in teaching Private Law and Civil Law at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as in legal consulting for private companies. He is a fellow of the higher education academy UK, member of the Jordanian Bar Association, member of the Union of Arab Trainers, member of the Arab Union for the protection of intellectual property rights, member of the Arab society of association mediation and arbitration in Intellectual Property. He is also an international arbitrator, member of London court of international arbitration and member of the scientific academy Aiadcadres. He has presented in many international conferences, and he is author of several publications in international scientific journals and scientific Arab journals in addition to a monographic book.

Bachelor and Masters of Law at University of Rome, Dr. Pasquale obtained a Ph.D. in Theory and History of National and International Institutions and a Post-Graduate Diploma in EU Law. Before joining RUW as Associate Professor, he has served at University of Salerno, teaching at the Post-Graduate School for Legal Careers of the College of Law, at University of Rome "La Sapienza", teaching at the Master on International Business Law, and he has been Visiting Research Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. Over the years, he has been visiting Lecturer at the Catholic University of Bogota', Colombia, CAECE University in Mar del Plata, Argentina and member of the research group on "Human Rights and Economy" at University of Rome. He is a member of the Italian Society of International Law and he is author of several publications in Italian and foreign journals of International Law. He recently published a book on “Studies on Arab Regionalism: the Gulf Cooperation Council”.

Dr. Borea is also Barrister at Law, and he worked as legal counsel for Members of the Italian Parliament in Rome and as legal expert for the Italian Prime Minister's Office, Department of European Affairs, in Brussels. He joined the staff of the Italian delegation at the London G20 and at the Italian G8 world leaders' summits and he attended as delegate the 23rd EU-GCC Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting.

Dr. Nasser Alsaraireh is an assistant professor specializing in criminal law. He joined RUW Law School in January 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Law, Master's Degree in Criminal Law, and Bachelor of Laws from Mutah University. He has a long history of teaching criminal law, criminal procedure law, and common law subjects in general at undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as in legal advice to private companies. Member of the Jordanian Bar Association. He presented many international conferences and had many publications in international scientific journals and Arab scientific journals in addition to a monograph.

Dr. Husham Alawsi joined RUW College of Law in September 2017. He holds a Ph.D. in Private Law, Commercial Law specialization, and a Master's degree in Banking Law from the University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has been teaching Commercial law, Company Law, and International Business law at various universities, including Kingdom University, Bahrain University, and Ahmed Ibrahim College of Law in Malaysia. As a legal expert, he has had an important role as a legal consultant for commercial, corporate, and Banking cases for Hassan Al-Mahraqi and Mahmood Yaqyoop Office in Bahrain. In addition, he has participated in many committees while working as a lecturer in the college of law such as (examination committee, Community Service Committee, Library Committee for Audit and Accreditation, violations of the students' behavior, Committee for the Development of the Study Plan, Quality Assurance Committee). His scholarly interests are particularly oriented towards the influence of the proper application of legal provisions and their impact on the community in order to achieve justice and equity in society. He has attended many workshops in order to improve his skills in legal fields such as Arab Board Consultancy &Training (presentation skills; Programme Development Workshop, Pilos, Cilos & Nalignment of Teaching; Quality assurance and enhancement workshop; Quality Management System (QMS); Accreditation and Quality Assurance Office; Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning modules”1-2-3” (fellowship). In addition to teaching, he is very interested in the Quality Assurance System and he served as Chair of quality assurance committees and developed many law programs. He is also a member of the Iraqi Bar Society and worked as an attorney in civil courts.

Dr. Noora Mohamed AlShamlan

Dr. Noora Mohamed AlShamlan received a Doctorate of Judicial Sciences (SJD) from Maurer School of Law Indiana University-Bloomington, a Master of Laws from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bahrain. Dr. AlShamlan holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) from the University of Bahrain and fellowship recognition from the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the United Kingdom.

Dr. AlShamlan is Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at the College of Law, University of Bahrain, as well as a mentor in the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PCAP) program in the Unit for Excellence and Leadership at the University of Bahrain. Dr. AlShamlan is an Adjunct Professor at the Royal University for Women since September 2021. She was Adjunct Professor at the Royal Police Academy in Bahrain and taught the master’s and bachelor’s levels from 2012 to 2015, and she is still cooperating with the Royal Police Academy as an external examiner for master’s thesis.

 Dr. AlShamlan held the position of  Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Director at the College of Law, the University of Bahrain for nearly five years. She was one of the founders of the legal clinic at the University of Bahrain and taught the civil education branch. Also, she coached the students in international and regional moot court competitions in the United States of America, Austria, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. AlShamlan is among the first batch of the criminal justice experts training programme of the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute (JLSI). She is a member of the International Advisory Board of Maurer School of Law, Indiana University. She is a member of the editorial advisory board of LexisNexis' Journal of Law in the Middle East. Dr. AlShamlan has a number of published research papers locally and internationally, and she has participated in many local, regional, and international conferences as a speaker. She is an expert on quality assurance in education. She is a member of several associations and is active in the human rights, social, and sports fields in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Mrs. Liasides worked in a Maritime law firm in Piraeus, Greece in Kyriakos Liasides & Associates from 2004 to 2010.

In 2010, she joined Almoayed Chambers law firm in Manama, Bahrain as a legal consultant and is conducting legal research and authoring the firm’s newsletters.
