Bachelor and Masters of Law at University of Rome, Dr. Pasquale obtained a Ph.D. in Theory and History of National and International Institutions and a Post-Graduate Diploma in EU Law. Before joining RUW as Associate Professor, he has served at University of Salerno, teaching at the Post-Graduate School for Legal Careers of the College of Law, at University of Rome "La Sapienza", teaching at the Master on International Business Law, and he has been Visiting Research Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. Over the years, he has been visiting Lecturer at the Catholic University of Bogota', Colombia, CAECE University in Mar del Plata, Argentina and member of the research group on "Human Rights and Economy" at University of Rome. He is a member of the Italian Society of International Law and he is author of several publications in Italian and foreign journals of International Law. He recently published a book on “Studies on Arab Regionalism: the Gulf Cooperation Council”.
Dr. Borea is also Barrister at Law, and he worked as legal counsel for Members of the Italian Parliament in Rome and as legal expert for the Italian Prime Minister's Office, Department of European Affairs, in Brussels. He joined the staff of the Italian delegation at the London G20 and at the Italian G8 world leaders' summits and he attended as delegate the 23rd EU-GCC Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting.
Accomplished LL.M Degree over 28 years and Doctor Degree with over 11 years career characterized by record of success in all facets of teaching, supervising, working, and curriculum development in the fields of Law and especially in criminal Law .
Dr. Saeedi worked for many years as a Legal Adviser to a number of Ministries and Institutions in Iraq, and contributed in many Legal Conferences in the Arab world and Europe. During his work in the Academic field, Dr. El-Saeedi has contributed to several committees for developing the Legal curriculum.
In addition, Dr. El-Saeedi has researched and written various legal topics and published numerous studies and articles in Iraqi journals.
Dr. Maria Casoria
College of Law
Dr. Maria is a Bachelor of Law and International Organizations, Masters of Law, and Ph.D. in Markets Law. Her academic background is rooted in Comparative Law, and she is specialized in Competition Law.
For several years she has been member of the Research Units for Comparative Private and Commercial law, European Tort Law, Economic Analysis of Law, and Intellectual Property at the Department of Law of the University of Siena, where she has served as tutor for undergraduates and has given lectures in the mentioned research fields. Moreover, she has been Global Stiefel Fellow in Antitrust Law at New York Law School, Institute for Information Law & Policy.
Dr. Maria is member of the Italian Society for Research in Comparative Law, and author of several articles published on leading Italian law journals, both in Civil and Commercial Law.
She is Barrister at Law, and Mediator in Civil and Commercial Disputes.
Before joining RUW, she has worked in Rome at the Italian Competition Authority, Legal Affairs and Litigation Department.
Dr. Louna Farhat obtained her PhD (Doctoral d’état) in Law in 2008 from the Faculty of Law, Lebanese University. Specialized in Public Law. Lecturer on human rights and liberties 5 years, at Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon. Worked as Assistant Professor in Kuwait at the Kuwait International Law School from 2011-2014 where she taught Constitutional Law, Public International Law and International Environmental Law. Published 2 legal books and several articles on human rights and other related issues.
Dr Aseel Zimmo specializes in civil and commercial law and has a PhD in commercial arbitration from the London School of Economics, UK. She taught Civil law at RUW and will be teaching Introduction to Law this semester. Dr Zimmo is experienced in both common and civil law jurisdictions as she studied in London and is a qualified lawyer in New York and Jordan. She currently works for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative within the Bahraini Ministry of Justice, among other projects, Dr. Zimmo develops curriculums for judges, prosecutors and lawyers on various criminal, civil and commercial topics.
Dr. Malallah J. Abdul Malik Al- Hammadi

Dr. Malallah Al- Hammadi specializes in Administrative Law and has more than 20 years’ experience in the legal field. He has been Director of the Official Gazette Directorate of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, Ministry of Justice, Bahrain. He holds a PhD in Common Law from Arab League University, a Master in Administrative Law from Gulf University and a Bachelor of Law from Beirut Arab University. He has served as a member on a number of governmental committees mainly in the field of public sector governance, tenders and administrative procedures. Dr. Malallah has participated in several national and international legal conferences and lecture series. He is author of several publications in the field of Administrative Law and other public law subjects.
Mrs. Maria Liasides

Mrs. Liasides worked in a Maritime law firm in Piraeus, Greece in Kyriakos Liasides & Associates from 2004 to 2010.
In 2010, she joined Almoayed Chambers law firm in Manama, Bahrain as a legal consultant and is conducting legal research and authoring the firm’s newsletters.
